Well yeah. XD But it’s played for laughs instead of being objectively funny—there’s a difference.  In the former, it’s usually just plain offensive.  And I think what it’s referring to is that one member of the system is gay and then another member of the system is referred to as such and objects wildly (because really being gay is a horrible thing dontcha know) because they’re all the same person, amirite?

Er.  That response got a little defensive. XD Kyle might be hanging over my shoulder.  I don’t know. ^^;
