a question for people who are multiple systems

When you’re dating somebody, is only one of your multiple systems dating them?

Do you consider yourself polyamorous if each of your systems date somebody different, or do you still consider yourself monogamous because each of you are dating one person?

We refer to The Mirror Maze as our partner system, but all of us aren’t dating all of them—that is, we aren’t in a big poly relationship with one another.  It’s more that I, as the main fronter of this system, am dating Tyro, the main fronter of their system, and then several of our other system mates are dating as well (Dameon’s with Cedric, Taylor’s with Dylan, etc); however, we also have mates in this system who are dating members of The Magnetons (Andrew’s married to Steve, Byron’s married to Will, etc).  There’s a few more over here dating or otherwise together with people from one of those two systems, but you get the idea.

So yeah, I for the most part consider myself monogamous.  Dameon considers himself monogamous.  Taylor, Byron, and Andrew, are all poly, though—but that’s just them as individuals.
